Objective:

To prepare critical editions of unpublished ancient and medieval Greek and Latin texts, or texts whose current reference editions are not fully reliable.
To carry out studies on the history of the transmission and tradition of ancient Greek and Latin texts, as a preliminary step toward the development of critical editions. To codicologically and paleographically study the colonial Latin manuscripts of philosophical texts, which are preserved in the National Library of Colombia, the Archive of the Academy of History and the Instituto Caro y Cuervo, with the purpose of facilitating both the analysis of their content and the preparation of critical editions.
